Alan Baldry

Teaching

Ken Nuridin

After completing his Science degree at Melbourne University, Alan started his teaching career teaching Physics, Maths and Computers in Westmeadows in 1986. He then taught Science at Northside Christian College for two years before ceasing teaching and doing his Bachelor of Biblical Studies at Harvest Bible College.

After this Alan had a stint as a Bible college staff member at Westside in Maidstone, whilst doing some casual relief teaching. He developed a passion for Christian Missions and went on several exposure trips from 1992 to 2003.

Then in 1999 Alan left the northwest of Melbourne to commence nineteen fruitful years at Lighthouse Christian College fulfilling many roles as called upon. During this time he met and married Jodie and they have four lovely children. They also served for many years as the mission’s representatives in the Lighthouse church before returning to the West in 2018. They moved to Wyndham Vale and now fellowship at Equip International church there.

Alan did occasional relief teaching and short term teaching before accepting the call to teach Physics at Ballarat Christian College at the start of 2021. Alan has a passion for Ancestry, Athletics and Astronomy and has a desire to see all children fulfil their God-given potential.
