Cherine Lewis

Education Support

Ken Nuridin

Prior to commencing work at Ballarat Christian College in 2015, Cherine worked mainly across the museum, tourism and retail sectors.

Education Support and providing assistance in the Library are Cherine’s main roles at BalCC. “One of the best things about working as an ESS is simply being able to walk in a classroom and help. To be able to come alongside and encourage a student or group of students in whatever task or situation they are facing. Hearing a student call out a friendly “Hello Mrs. Lewis” as I walk through the College grounds always reminds me of the privileged position I have.”

Outside of works hours Cherine spends most of her time with her husband and three children, together they seek ways to smile in everyday life.
