Students Paige (Year 12), Jordyn (Year 5) and Jade (Year 4) have shown their creative skills in a Central Highlands Water writing competition. Central Highlands Water celebrate International Day for Families each year as part of their cultural development for staff. This year as part of the celebration the organisation ran a writing competition open to all staff children with the theme How my Family can be more water wise . A fitting theme given the girls are all sisters.
Paige achieved first place in the senior category, and Jordyn and Jade's joint entry placed first in the junior category.
The girls won a voucher to Collins book stores as well as a water pack each. The water packs included items such as, gardening tools, a book on drought hardy plants, water saving pot plants, and watering cans.
The girls attended at an awards ceremony and were taken on a tour of the Central Highlands Water lab and heard a talk on sustainability.
