Ian Manton
Teaching
Ian completed his Post Graduate Bachelor honours degree in English and ESL from the University of Melbourne in 1997. He worked for a year at Mount Waverley Secondary before moving to England for what was supposed to be a two year working holiday, which somehow turned into twenty years. In his time in the UK, he taught in both primary and secondary schools, first in London and then later in Bristol.
In 2019 he returned to Australia and settled in Ballarat to be closer to family and joined the College in 2020. First as a CRT and then as the replacement French Teacher, before moving into full-time secondary teaching position.
