Nicki Laursen
Teaching
Nicki is teaching Year 12 History Revolutions and Year 11 English this year. As a previous Ballarat Christian College teacher, she has also taught at Melton Christian College, Olivet Christian College and Loreto Ballarat. She has a Bachelor of Arts and several post graduate qualifications, including History Curriculum from the University of New England and English Literature and Creative Writing from Deakin University.
More importantly, her relationship with God is at the centre of who she is and as an Enjoyer, she lives by Ecclesiastes 8:15, ’I commend the enjoyment of life’. She also enjoys reading (still unashamedly a Jane Austen fan) and writing her own stories. She hopes to impart some of that love of literature and writing to those she teaches.
