Ruth Orr

A love of storytelling and photography led Ruth to undertake a three year journalism cadetship at a rural newspaper after graduating Year 12 at Maranatha Christian School. On her return to Melbourne she moved into Office Administration and worked at BHP for several years before making the move to Ballarat, where she worked as an Administration Manager in the Centre Management at Stockland Wendouree for seven years.

Ruth took up the position of Community Relations Officer at BalCC in 2016 and is responsible for the College’s social media, website, media advertising, promotions, photography, and the coordination of design work and publications. The favourite part of her role is getting to tell the story of the great things happening at Ballarat Christian College.
