  Principal’s Welcome

Thank you for enquiring about Ballarat Christian College. I trust that your short journey through our website encourages you to seek more information about the College. Enquiries are welcomed and a personal interview with the Principal is encouraged. Ballarat Christian College is a low-fee, co-educational college in the evangelical Protestant tradition, catering for students in Years Preparatory (Prep) to 12.

Ballarat Christian College, as the name implies, provides education for children in a safe and nurturing Christian environment, where Christian values and teachings are lived out daily in the positive experiences and relationships which develop at the College. Our College motto ‘Serve one another in love’ (Galatians 5:13) guides and informs the way we relate to one another and to our God. God is placed at the centre of our learning, our lifestyle and our worldview, and Jesus Christ is honoured as Lord and Saviour.

Ballarat Christian College provides a broad and varied curriculum where all students are encouraged and guided to reach their God-given destiny by striving to do their best in all endeavours. The College caters for the special needs of students through various programs, including for gifted and talented students. As the College grows and develops, the curriculum expands to meet the needs of its students. The Middle School provides further specialised support for young adolescent students. The College offers VCE, VCAL and VETiS studies in the senior years, as well as elective and co-curricular programs across the school. All classes from Prep to Year 10 follow the Australian Curriculum, with the addition of a Christian Education program.

By becoming part of our College community, you would be making a sound investment in your child’s future. I look forward to discussing with you the opportunities available for your child through enrolment at Ballarat Christian College.
