Our Year 11 and 12 Biology students recently visited the Ecolinc Science & Technology Innovations Centre in Bacchus Marsh.
Field trips are an important part of VCE Biology as the students engage in a series of activities, experiments and discussions. The Year 12 students participated in the program VCE Biology Unit 3 Area of Study 2-How cells communicate? and the Year 11 students participated in the program VCE Biology Unit 1 Area of Study 2 - Adaptations & Dynamic Ecosystems .
Ecolinc is an established Department of Education and Training (DET) Science Specialist Centre focusing on the development and delivery of innovative educational programs addressing environmental sustainability. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to work in highly specialised and well-equipped science laboratories.
