Students in the Year 4 class have been using their creativity to write their own Australian animal myths during Literacy. In small groups they adapted these into plays and made shadow puppets of the animal characters. The Year 1 buddies enjoyed an entertaining performance of the plays, which attempted to explain in a humorous way such things as 'why the kookaburra laughs' and 'why the koala has a flat nose'.
