The Year 8 Cuisines of the World class learnt how to make Sushi rolls
this week. Students made Sushi rolls with tuna, cucumber and mayonnaise;
smoked salmon and avocado; and tofu and vegetable. The class sold the rolls along
with mugs of miso soup from the Canteen.
The Cuisines of the World class allows students the opportunity to learn about and cook food from around the globe. Drawing on the cuisines from the cultures within the class and College, as well as other popular cuisines, students get to experience new and exotic flavour and texture combinations first-hand.
