Rocket launches, volcano eruptions and spacecraft construction were just part of the fun during
National Science Week at BalCC. This year’s Science Week theme was Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
National Science Week is an annual celebration of science in Australia, an opportunity to join together to enjoy and explore the wonders and benefits of science both in and outside of the classroom.
The Learning Enhancement Centre provided opportunities for our primary students to explore, and create models of 2D junior astronauts, volcanic eruptions, rocket launchers, 3D spacecrafts, colour spinners and more. Our Primary students participated with great enthusiasm and were keen to share their designs with their peers and families.
