It is with great pleasure that we advise you that Ken Nuridin has been appointed as the new Principal of Ballarat Christian College. Ken will commence duties as Principal from the start of Term 2 2019.
Michael Stewart resigned from his position of Principal recently after three years of exemplary leadership. The College Board has consequently been prayerfully seeking a new Principal.
Ken will be known to many of you as he has led the Primary/Junior School for a number of years and filled the role of Acting Principal when required.
The Board was keen to appoint someone with a strong teaching and Christian background, who can provide continuity and stability to the College at this time as well as having the ability to deliver on the current commitments made by the Board, while bringing innovation, new programs and practices to the management of the College.
Bianca Francica will continue to fill the role of Acting Head of Primary until the College is in a position to announce a permanent appointment to the position.
Mrs Francica has graciously agreed to move from four days to a full-time teaching appointment. The extra day will allow her to accommodate the Head of School role, without the need to reduce her teaching time in either the Year 1/2 classroom or in the Primary Music classes.
