GRIP Leadership Conference 2019

This week all the Year 6 students and the SRC Representatives for Years 3-6 participated in a student leadership training conference held at Federation University. Students had the opportunity to experience a good number of effective leadership roles during the day’s activities and found out how best to model good student leadership in schools.

“We loved being part of the Primary GRIP Leadership Conference this year!

Learning about how to be a leader in your school was awesome! We learned the CORE values of leadership as; C = Confidence with humility, O = Others’ focused, R = Reliability and E = Empathy.

Together, the Year 6’s and the SRC representatives of our Primary School learned loads of great things about being good leaders, including lots of games and activities we were able to join in with.

We especially liked the ‘Loud Noises’ sessions. Lots of fun!”
