Pet Safe Education Incursion

This week the Primary students were visited by Pet Educator, Yvonne and Border Collie dog, Majella. The visit was part of the Victorian State Government Responsible Pet Ownership education program.

Educator Yvonne conducted age appropriate workshops touching on topics relating to responsible pet ownership and welfare.

The Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) program educates children from ages 4-12 on living safely with dogs and responsible pet ownership. The RPO Programs Pet Educators and their suitability tested dogs visit over 2000 Kindergartens and 800 Primary schools throughout the state yearly promoting the vital safety messages through animated presentations, song and role playing.
