The SPARSH Mini Fete was a wonderful way to finish Term 1 at BalCC. The whole College fundraising event raises funds for SPARSH Academy in India.
BalCC is dedicated to a partnership with SPARSH Academy to uplift the school both spiritually and financially to support underprivileged children through education and a nutritional program.
Students from each year level organised and ran stalls, which ranged from the sale of bric-a-brac, toys, food, lucky dips, books, dvds, and play dough to face painting, water balloon bombing, play station games, a gridiron based obstacle course, golf and nail polish painting.
The warm weather allowed students the opportunity to use the new green space between the Multi-Purpose Centre and the Primary Art room.
Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the SPARSH Mini Fete and to BalCC SPARSH Coordinator Georgie Stevens for organising the annual event.
SPARSH Academy focus on Education, Community Development, Health & hygiene, Children Development and Literacy programs. Raising money for SPARSH Academy is achieved by fundraising at BalCC by students, teachers and donations from parents.
