SPARH Academy is a not for profit school with an aim to impart Christian love among the Garhwali people of India with a focus on Education, Community Development, Health & hygiene, Children Development and Literacy programs.

BalCC is dedicated to a partnership with SPARSH Academy to uplift the school both spiritually and financially to support underprivileged children through education and a nutritional program.Raising money for SPARSH Academy is achieved by fundraising at BalCC by students, teachers and donations from parents.

SPARSH Academy recently passed on their thanks and gratitude to the BalCC community for their support over the past eleven years. They are currently building new classrooms which will allow them to expand the school to include middle years. The school continues to grow and the generous support enables them to go ahead with this expansion. Ultimately many needy kids in the Himalayan foothills will benefit. They would welcome any visitors from BalCC to their program and there is a short term trip planned by SPARSH supporters for later this year.
