Year 10 qualifies for National Youth Archery Championships

Congratulations to Year 10 student, James for being selected as a First Reserve archer for the National Youth Archery Championships. The Championships will be held over the Term 1 school holidays in Armidale, NSW and will see archers aged 14-17 years from all over Australia competing.

James is a member of the Wendouree Archery Club and commenced Bow Hunting archery four years ago before taking up Target archery. James became interested in archery after attending a “Come and Try” day. He then completed a Beginner’s archery course, which taught him the techniques and safety elements of archery.

If you are interested in learning more about archery head to the Wendouree Archery Club website: http://www.wendoureearchery.com/

We wish James well as he represents Victoria at the ten day Championships.
