Congratulations to Year 12 student and BalCC Vice Captain Yual for jumping 2.05 metres at the Ballarat Associated Schools Athletics this week. Yual beat a 1987 record of 1.95 metres to take home victory.

Yual’s personal best is 2.08 metres, which he jumped when representing Athletics Victoria in a National competition held in Sydney in last March.

Events were halted so students could watch and cheer Yual to victory. Schools attending included Ballarat Grammar, Ballarat & Clarendon College, St Patrick's College and Damascus College.
