Watoto Children’ Choir performed at BalCC today as part of their five month We Will Go tour of Australia.

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of hope for Africa’s most vulnerable children and women. On almost every day of the year, the choir is performing somewhere in the world. That means thousands of people get to meet some of our future leaders. People see their smiles and are embraced by their hugs.

The choir serves many purposes. It raises awareness about the work of Watoto globally. It’s also leadership training for our children, providing a strong sense of responsibility while experiencing different cultures. More importantly, it’s a way they share their faith with people around the world.

Like Africa, the production is vibrant and colorful, taking you on an emotional journey from utter despair to joyous celebration, as the children and women share their personal stories of triumph in story and song.
