Year 4-6: Robot Man visit teaches STEM skills

This week the Year 4-6 students had the opportunity to be involved in modular robotics as part of visit by Robot Man .

Robot Man , is Stephen Reiher, a teacher with twenty-eight years experience, who travels Victoria and Tasmania in his van delivering education STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs to schools.

Stephen says "There's no reason why learning shouldn't be fun! No matter what the age, put a bunch of people in a room full of robotic equipment and the excitement and energy is exhilarating. Throw in some challenges, a few Dad jokes, music and iPads and it's a recipe for a really enjoyable time. I like to make sure every participant is having a positive experience and, by the end of our time together, they feel better about themselves and the people around them. My goal is to make everyone feel a little smarter and more enthusiastic about learning and achieving."
